Simone Antonelli joined Shell in 2021, where he currently leads the regulatory team supporting Shell’s gas, renewable gases and power trading business in South and East Europe. Prior to this, Simone had an extensive career at Enel, holding various positions, including Executive Assistant to the CEO and Head of Regulatory Affairs for Europe. During his tenure at Enel, he also served on the boards of major EU renewable energy associations, SolarPower Europe and WindEurope. Simone holds a degree in Economics from the University of Rome and is fluent in both English and German.
